Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 25, 2026
CALE is an independently operated software platform available at getcale.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and handle information when you use our services.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on the features you use, CALE may process:
- Account and profile information, including email addresses.
- Search queries, saved searches, campaigns, and workspace settings.
- Business contact information from publicly accessible sources.
- Email campaign details, recipients, delivery statuses, and replies.
- Technical information necessary for security and service operation.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide business search and lead management features.
- Manage outreach campaigns and related workflows.
- Synchronize authorized email conversations.
- Maintain saved searches and monitoring features.
- Protect accounts, troubleshoot issues, and operate CALE.
When you type a street address in the optional business form, the text and any city or state you enter are sent to Google Maps to suggest matching US addresses. Suggestions are optional; you may enter the address manually. We do not save suggestion lists or use them to populate our lead database. Submitted business details still require the separate directory consent and verification described above. Google's Privacy Policy applies to its address service.
When you submit an optional business listing, we also send the entered city, state, and any street address or ZIP to Google Maps to check that they match. This check does not prove business ownership, mail delivery or occupancy. We use the response for comparison and do not copy it into the lead catalogue. If the check is unavailable, you can try again later or cancel the optional listing.
3. Google Gmail Integration
When you connect a Google account, CALE requests your authorization through Google's OAuth process. Depending on the permissions granted, CALE can read Gmail messages and send emails on your behalf.
Gmail access is used for email outreach, reply synchronization, conversation history, delivery failure detection, and related user-facing features.
To provide these features, CALE may store relevant message content, email addresses, subjects, message identifiers, conversation identifiers, timestamps, and associated campaign information.
OAuth refresh tokens are stored in encrypted form to maintain authorized connections. CALE does not require your Google account password.
4. Google API Limited Use
CALE's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Google user data is not used for targeted advertising, sold to data brokers, or used to train general-purpose artificial intelligence models.
5. AI-Assisted Features
When you request an AI-assisted feature, such as generating an email draft or suggested reply, relevant information may be processed by an external AI service provider to fulfill that request.
Google user data may only be transferred for these features where permitted by Google's applicable policies and with the required user authorization.
6. Business Information
CALE may gather business information from publicly accessible websites, directories, and data providers. This may include company names, business addresses, websites, phone numbers, and publicly listed business contact details.
Publicly available information may be inaccurate or outdated. Users are responsible for complying with applicable outreach and privacy laws.
7. Service Providers
When enabled, CALE uses Cloudflare Turnstile on account forms to help prevent automated abuse. Cloudflare processes technical information for this security verification. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
CALE uses external infrastructure and technology providers for hosting, authentication, database storage, email integrations, and other requested platform functionality.
Information may be processed by these providers as necessary to operate the service, subject to applicable privacy and contractual requirements.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
CALE retains information for as long as needed to operate the requested service, maintain account functionality, support security, and satisfy applicable legal obligations.
Users may request deletion of their CALE account and associated personal data by contacting support@getcale.com. Requests are reviewed and handled subject to applicable legal, security, and technical requirements.
Disconnecting Google access stops future authorized access through that connection but does not necessarily erase information already stored within CALE. Users may separately request deletion of stored data.
9. Security
We use security measures intended to protect stored information, including encrypted OAuth credentials, authenticated access, and encrypted network communications.
No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Privacy Choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data where applicable. You may also revoke Google's authorization through your Google Account settings.
11. Children
CALE is intended for business and professional use and is not directed to children under 18.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform evolves. Changes will be published on this page with an updated revision date.

Optional business directory submissions
After registration, you may choose to submit public details of a business you are authorized to represent. This choice is separate from account creation. We record your permission, its version and date, and only the business details you submit. Your login email and private workspace profile are not automatically included.
Submitted details are checked before publication in our directory and customer search results. You can edit the submission or withdraw permission in Settings → Your business listing. Withdrawal stops directory use of details supplied through this submission and clears your active submission. Previous facts may be retained with their source and consent history but are no longer shown from this submission. Independently sourced business information may remain under its separate source permissions.
